Aid Worker Security Database - Anonymous incident reporting

If you or a humanitarian colleague have experienced a violent attack or detention, you can submit an anonymous report through this secure, encrypted form. Your IP address will not be tracked, and all information you provide will be anonymized before being entered into our public database. By reporting, you will help other humanitarians stay informed and raise awareness of the violence they face.

The AWSD records attacks on non-governmental humanitarian staff that result in he following outcomes:

  1. Killing (as a result of violence)
  2. Serious injuries requiring medical attention
  3. Rape and sexual assault
  4. Kidnapping where abductee is held for at least 24 hours
  5. Detention or arrest by authorities, lasting at least 24 hours
